Catching up day two

I have just been going over the 200 or so words or phrases. I'm very proud that I can write some new sentences correctly for the first try. Here I have used some new phrases like "I met my friend and we ate rice" and "I am student and I study French" and "kimchi is delicious and it is a Korean food".

Back to studying again!

I am trying to break my bad habit of not studying for a long time. When my life gets busy and disorganised I fall into lazy habits. My tickets for Korea have been booked so I shall start studying hard again. Today I have only learned a few new words and phrases like the Korean for "I'm going on date with my boyfriend", "french language" and "kimchi is delicious so I eat kimchi a lot". Because I have not studied in a while I have focused on practicing everything I learnt because I have forgotten some things.

Level 2!!!

Since yesterday I have been learning the first five lessons of Level 2. Kicking off this level, I have learnt how to write about the future:

내일 뭐 할 거예요? = What are you going to do tomorrow?

피자 먹을 거예요 = I'm going to eat pizza

남자친구하고 같이 영화볼 거예요 = I'm going to see a film with my boyfriend

어디 만날 거예요 = Where are you going to meet?

For the second lesson I learnt how to use the Object markers - 을 / 를  to show which object is the the object of the verb.

Then I learnt how to use 그리고, 그래서, 하고 and 이랑/ 랑 to link sentences together.

김밥은 맛있어요, 그래서 김밥 자주 먹어요 = Kimbap is delicious so I eat it often

저는 학생 이에요, 그래서 돈이 없어요 = I am a student so I do not have money

책, 연필 그리고 공책 =  A book, a pencil and a notebook

Finally I learnt the days of the week:
월요일
화요일
수요일
목요일
금요일
토요일

Studying before my test

So its the end of June and I feel that I have studied level 1 very well, enough that I can remember around 250 - 300 words confidently. Starting the first of July, I will move on to level 2 and if I complete one level each month I will reach intermediate level lessons in about 9 months so I am learning quite fast. I have been studying for a Korean test for the past week. Here are the final two pieces of study evidence for level one for this week. As you can see I have learned many new phrases like "How did you find it?" and "How heavy is it?" and "When did you arrive?"

Busy practicing

I have a test on Saturday so I am still busy practicing my spelling and learning lots of new verbs. I use the computer app called Anki to help me learn. It is a very good memory card style programme.
