So its the end of June and I feel that I have studied level 1 very well, enough that I can remember around 250 - 300 words confidently. Starting the first of July, I will move on to level 2 and if I complete one level each month I will reach intermediate level lessons in about 9 months so I am learning quite fast. I have been studying for a Korean test for the past week. Here are the final two pieces of study evidence for level one for this week. As you can see I have learned many new phrases like "How did you find it?" and "How heavy is it?" and "When did you arrive?"

Busy practicing
I have a test on Saturday so I am still busy practicing my spelling and learning lots of new verbs. I use the computer app called Anki to help me learn. It is a very good memory card style programme.

Sixth Lesson - Final lesson of level 1
There are five more lesson points for the last part of level 1. There are 9 levels I must complete before I can start the intermediate lessons.
Today I have learnt how to make a negative sentence by adding 안 before a verb or making a negative verb by adding 자않다 to a verb stem and changing the conjugation
How to make verbs which use 하다 into negatives by adding the 안 before the 하다 or by changing the 하다 to 하지않다
How to use the word for who - 누구 and how to change it to 구가 when you are talking about who when that is the subject of the conversation.
Four interrogatives : How - 어떻게 and Why - 왜 and How much (money) 얼마 and How + adjective/adverb - 얼마나
Finally, how to say From A until B in time and location.
에서 and 부터 mean from but 에서 is for locations and 부터 is for time.
까지 means to or until so
location From A until B = A 에세 B 까지
Time From A until B = A 부터 B 까지

Fifth Lesson
Today I have decided to slow down my learning of grammar and try and fit in more time for learning new vocabulary. I made this poster to help me learn some words which I can use with the five verbs that I learnt yesterday.

Second Lesson
Today I have covered Level 1, lessons 6-10 and worked through the textbook questions for those lessons. Slowly, the lessons are becoming harder. I have learnt a lot of grammar today so I can make very simple and easy sentences now. As the lessons go on, the lesson introduces more vocabulary and they expect you to remember these. Here are some examples of the sentences I can make:
1) What is it? 뭐예요?
2) It's not coffee 커피아니에요
3) What is that over there? 저거뭐예요?
4) I do not have time 시간없어요
5) Is this water? 물이에요?
6) This is not alcohol 이거술아니에요
7) I am a student 학생이에요
8) It is pizza that is expensive피자가비싸요
9) Other things are not expensive, but pizza is! 피자는비싸요
10) I have Korean friends 한국친구있어요
I am anxious for the lessons after this because they will get more difficult. Tomorrow I want to learn some numbers or vocabulary instead of difficult grammar!
